This is the Privacy Statement of Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited (“JLRI”), Arena Road, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin 18. In this statement we use the terms “we,” “our” and “us” to refer to JLRI. Where this statement refers to the term “retailer,” this indicates the vehicle retailer authorised to sell or service JLRI vehicles.

The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to outline our position concerning the collection, use, retention, disclosure, and transfer of Personal Data which is gathered and processed by us. This Privacy Statement also sets out our information management practices.

JLRI respects the privacy of all those individuals whose Personal Data it encounters, which in particular includes the following:
 a) All users of our Websites, Social Media Pages, or Apps;
 b) All employees and contractors (including applicants for employment with JLRI);
 c) All members (including former employees) of JLRI on sponsored pension schemes;
 d) Business contacts, retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers;
 e) Customers or prospective customers of JLRI;

Purpose Description Lawful Basis for Processing
Purchasing a Vehicle or Parts/Accessories Name, contact details (may include postal address, email address, telephone numbers, gender, current Vehicle details.) When you order a vehicle or part/accessory, information is collected by the retailer for their own processing and on behalf of JLRI and Jaguar Land Rover (manufacturer) for the fulfilment of warranties, registration of vehicle for road assistance and services associated to the purchase of the vehicle and/or parts/accessories. These details are sent to JLRI who may share it with 3rd. parties e.g., to register vehicle for warranty.
The lawful basis for processing is the performance of a contract to which the customer is party.
Renting or Subscribing to a Vehicle Name, contact details (include postal address, email address, telephone numbers, gender, drivers’ license (this may include any endorsements on your license),occupation, bank details, credit/debit card details. Employer details in certain circumstances. When you order a vehicle or part/accessory, information is collected by the retailer for their own processing and on behalf of JLRI and Jaguar Land Rover (manufacturer) for the fulfilment of warranties, registration of vehicle for road assistance and services associated to the purchase of the vehicle and/or parts/accessories. These details are sent to JLRI who may share it with 3rd. parties e.g., to register vehicle for warranty. Booking a Vehicle Service Name and Contact details (may include postal address, email address, telephone numbers, gender. Vehicle including your vehicle identification number, vehicle registration number, mileage, vehicle model, diagnostic information, work carried out on your vehicle. When a customer books a vehicle service, information is collected by the retailer for their own processing and on behalf of JLRI and Jaguar Land Rover (manufacturer) for the fulfilment of warranties and services associated with the service of the vehicle and logged as part of the service history of the vehicle, these details are sent to JLRI. The processing is the performance of a contract to which the customer is party.
Applying for a job Name and Contact details (may include postal address, email address, telephone numbers, gender. CV and its contents (current and former employment, academic details, reference, interests, hobbies) The processing is in our legitimate interests in the assessment of potential candidates for employment within our business
Trading in a Vehicle Name, contact details (may include postal address, email address, telephone numbers, gender, current Vehicle details, mileage, finance details (if applicable). The processing is the performance of a contract to which the customer is party.
Requesting a Quote/Brochure Booking a Test Drive Name and Contact details and current vehicle details. When you visit our websites and requests a quote or brochure or book a test drive or service. Personal information is collected in order to satisfy this request. Where applicable these details are sent to the relevant retailer who will fulfil the request.
The processing is in our legitimate interests in developing business leads with potential customers
Registering Interest Name and Contact details and current vehicle details. When an individual visits our websites and registers interest in any of our products, contact details are collected in order provide information to the relevant retailers for follow up.
Lost Lead Management Name and Contact details and current vehicle details. We respect your right to change your mind in purchasing a vehicle from us. We will contact you to determine if we could have done anything better to retain you as our customer. The processing is in our legitimate interests to improve our Services and that of our Retail Network.
Customer Care Interactions with our staff and officers, including personal and vehicle details. Also notes of your calls with our staff on our CRC database. We use this information for the purpose of identity verification and in order to assist the relevant queries.
This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract and to keep a record of your interactions with us.
The processing is in our legitimate interests to assist in monitoring and training our staff.
Vehicle Financing / Leasing Financial Information. We may receive financial information about your finance agreement with your bank or finance provider in respect of your vehicle, where we are under an obligation with the bank or finance house to source a retailer to buy back your vehicle at the end of your finance arrangement.
Service and warranty Communications We use your personal information to remind you when your service is due or to advise you when your warranty is registered and due to expire. We rely on our legitimate interest to connect with our customers and to notify them of important changes which would be of interest to them.
Marketing to Potential Customers and Existing Customers Name and Contact details and current vehicle details. Where you are a Business-to-Business Prospect or Customer. The processing is in our legitimate interests to develop our business by providing information that is relevant and where you would reasonably expect to receive such information and have not opted out of the processing.
Where you are a Consumer Prospect. We will rely on your consent to communicate to you, where you have provided such consent to us directly or via your retailer.
We will request your consent for the inclusion of CTR technology within our marketing communications.
Customer Satisfaction Survey Name and Contact details and current vehicle details. IInformation about your experience with the retailer collected through customer satisfaction surveys carried out by us, or through audits that we carry out on our retailer.
We use this information to monitor our retailer’s performance and for driving service improvements in our legitimate interests.
Vehicle Tracking We operate vehicle telematics on our Fleet Vehicles. The vehicle is tracked via GPS and location data is retained and in certain instances the driving behaviour of the vehicle operator is also recorded. The processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in protecting our employees and our business assets.
Quality Improvement / Staff Training All, written communications, and communications received through the web are stored by us. The processing is in our legitimate interests in providing a high standard of services to our customers, by assessing the ongoing development and identifying areas for improvement.
CCTV Images. We operate a CCTV system on our premises for the safety and security of our staff and visitors.

Anti-Money Laundering We may use your personal data to comply with anti-money -laundering regulations. The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
